Faq's - Courses

1) What are the courses / programmes offered by CMJ University?
CMJ University offers Diploma, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate Programme in Engineering, Management, Computer Science, Allied Health Science, Information Technology, Applied Sciences, Life Sciences, Education, Journalism, Hotel Management, Tour &Travel Management, Laws & Skill Development.

2) What is the medium of Instruction?
English Only.
3) What is the course fee for the various courses conducted at your university?

4) Other than the course fee and other fees what Additional fees needs to be paid?
Other than course fee and other fees, you have to pay for examination fee and other charges which has been mentioned in the other  fee schedule.
5) What is the Training Classes?
CMJ University understand that motivating your employees to face and accept new challenges and to flourish is indeed a Herculean task. This intensifies the need for education, training and development. Honing up the existing skills and acquiring specialized skills, is a perpetual requirement. We offer you an entire portfolio to choose from diverse training programs that will address your needs at all levels.

Our customized programs can be linked with the performance assessment, providing opportunities of vertical and lateral growth for employees. The training classes is optional but highly recommended since they encourage peer interaction amongst the students and an opportunity to clarify doubts related to the examination or curriculum. University and CCII do not guarantee or comment on the standards of their teaching or training services. 

Students who plan to attend the training classes are required to pay training fee as per Training fee mentioned in the Fee structure. If you are seeking training classes, we advice you to wait for confirmation from the university that you are eligible for the course of your choice before paying training fees.
6) What is the procedure for Information Centre transfer?
Information Centre transfer is permitted during the re-registration to a higher/next year. Students are required to fill up Information Centre Transfer form with necessary enclosures along with Re-registration Form. However, students are requested to note the following:
  • Fresh admitted student is not eligible to seek Information Centre  Transfer
  • No mid year centre transfer is permitted
  • No centre transfer is permitted within the city
  • Transfer from one Information Centre  to another for foreign nationals is not permitted.
7) What is the procedure to change Sponsor Organisation?
Sponsor Organisation change is permitted subject to no objection certificate given by the previous sponsored organisation.  Students are required to fill up Change of  sponsoring organisation form with necessary enclosures. However, students are requested to note the following:

Student will not be eligible to take term end examination, if No Objection Certificate (NOC) is not given by the previously sponsored organisation.
8) What are Information Centres?
Information Centres provide students with a platform where each student has a chance to interact with counsellors and other batch mates.The Information Centres are authorised to provide counselling, guidance and training services to CMJU-CCII students.  Students shall receive personal attention and support at these Information Centers.  This facility will enable the prospective students to take a prompt decision to join CMJ University’s Industry Integrated programs. The Information Centres have been equipped with infrastructure and facilities as stipulated by the University, to effectively support  the learning process under the Industry Collaborative Education.

These Information Centres will act as the access and contact points between the University and the students.
9) When do the students receive the study material?
Study Material is provided to the students in the form of eBook, subject to payment of Programme Fee of the respective term of the programme. eBooks will be given to the students on allotment of Registration No. or after the commencement of session.
10) What is e-Book?
e- Book is the soft copy of Self Learning Material which will be uploaded on CMJU eCampus for the facilitation of the students, which would enable web-based study.
11) Do I have to pay an extra fee to collect the Study Material in form Books?
Yes, you need pay an extra fee to collect the Hard Copy of Study Material. Rs. 250 per Subject for Bachelor Degree and Diploma Courses and Rs. 350 per subject for Master Degree, in case you want it posted to your address,  then  you need to pay the postage/courier charges as also applicable.
12) When will  I receive the Identity Card?
Identity Card will be provided to you , after the confirmation of the admission by the University. You may collect the Identity Card from the Information Centre allotted to you.
13) What  is the validity  of Identity Card?
The Identity Card is valid only for the duration of the Programme in which the applicant has sought the admission.
14) What if I lose my Identity Card?
In case of loss of Identity Card, a duplicate card shall be issued  to you on payment of fee as prescribed by the University from time to time.
15) Is it mandatory to attend the Training Classes?
Training Classes, for all the Programmes under Industry Integrated, are optional. However, we recommend that the students make complete use of this facility for their conceptual understanding.
16) When will the Training Classes commence?
The contact classes will commence  tentatively in the month of September/ March. You may refer to the Academic Calendar  which will be uploaded on CMJU eCampus.  Also, please contact your allotted Information Centre for the actual schedule of Trainng Classes.
17) Can I attend the Training Classes in any of the CMJU CCII’s Information Centre(s)?
No, you cannot attend the Training Classes in any of the CMJU CCII’s Information Centre(s), you can only attend the Training Classes at the Information Centre allotted to you or your employer premises.
