1) What is the procedure for Name change in the university records?
The student’s name is entered as per the Xth Standard Certificate or an affidavit (confirming the exact name to be considered) provided by the student at the time of admission. However, if the student wishes to change his/ her name while pursuing the program he/ she has to forward the following documents to the University:
- Submit duly filled Name Change Request Form
- Demand draftdrawn in favour of 'CMJ University’ payable at ‘Shillong’ as prescribed in the application form
- An affidavit in support of name change or any other supporting legal document authenticated by a first class magistrate
Please note students are not eligible to seek name change after completion of the program.
2) What is the procedure for obtaining a duplicate mark sheet?
The following procedure is require to be followed to obtain a duplicate mark sheet.
- Submit duly filled in application form, which is available in student’s login under the caption “Forms & Applications”
- Demand draft drawn in favour of 'CMJ University’ payable at ‘Shillong’ as prescribed in the application form
- Copy of FIR, registered by police
3) What is the procedure for obtaining a Duplicate Certificate?
The following procedure is require to be followed to obtain a duplicate certificate.
- Submit duly filled in application form, which is available in student’s login under the caption “Forms & Applications”.
- Demand draft drawn in favour of 'CMJ University’ payable at ‘Shillong’ as prescribed in the application form
- Copy of FIR, registered by police
4) What is the procedure for obtaining a consolidated mark sheet ?
The following procedure is require to be followed to obtain a consolidated mark sheet.
- Submit duly filled in application form, which is available in student login under the caption “Forms & Applications”
- Demand draft drawn in favour of CMJ University', payable at Shillong as prescribed in the application form.
- For additional copies, add requisite amount as prescribed in the application form.
- Eligibility Certificate (10th, 10+2, Degree Pass Certificate) duly attested by Notary Public or Gazetted Officer.
- All years / semesters pass Marks Card.
5) What is the procedure for obtaining a Degree Certificate?
The following procedure is required to be followed to obtain a degree certificate.
- Submit duly filled in application form, which is available in student login under the caption “Forms & Applications”
- Demand draft drawn in favour of CMJ University', payable at Shillong as prescribed in the application form.
- For additional copies, add requisite amount as prescribed in the application form.
- Eligibility Certificate (10th, 10+2, Degree Pass Certificate) duly attested by Notary Public or Gazetted Officer.
- All years / semesters pass Marks Card.
6) How long does it take to issue the certificate after submitting the application?
It may take a minimum 6 months to issue the degree certificate after the receipt of the application from the student. The application form has to be complete in all respects. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected without assigning reasons. This is applicable only to those students who have not applied during their Re-registration for final year / semester.
7) What is the procedure to change Sponsor Organisation?
Sponsor Organisation change is permitted subject to no objection certificate given by the previous sponsored organisation. Students are required to fill up Change of sponsoring organisation form with necessary enclosures. However, students are requested to note the following:
- Student will not be eligible to take term end examination, if No Objection Certificate (NOC) is not given by the previously sponsored organisation.
8) What is the procedure for a domestic (Indian) student who wants to appear for examinations at an overseas centre or vice versa?
The Examination Center transfer from domestic to international or vice versa is not permitted as the date schedule differs from domestic to international or vice versa.
Any Student migrating from domestic to international or vice versa can seek centre transfer as per the laid down guidelines. The student may note that there is a possibility that the course fee and subject contents applicable to foreign/ overseas centres may vary. Hence, the student will be required to cover the same if he joins the overseas centre.
